Both former government leaders who are widely known in Tallahassee and throughout Florida, T.K. and Virginia Wetherell bring a wide array of experience together at Wetherell Consulting.
They established their firm in 1998 to give their clients comprehensive assistance in making their way through local, state and federal bureaucracies in matters related to legislation, agency policies and procedures and the appropriations process.
While both highly experienced and well skilled in the workings of policy and politics at the highest state levels, they also have unique leadership backgrounds in other areas. As a former Secretary of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection from 1991 to 1998, Virginia has been involved since then in working with firms on state land issues and regulatory matters. And T.K., as the former President of Florida State University, returned to become CEO of the firm in 2010, and is specializing to some degree on matters related to higher education.
